AUDIO REVIEW: Deal with the Devil by Meghan March
“You can put that man in a suit, but he'll never be tame."
One look at Jericho Forge and I knew the rumors were true. He was a predator, and he had set his sights on me. I knew better than to bet more than I could afford to lose that night. I knew better than to bet myself. But desperation leads to bad decisions, and I thought there was no way I could lose. I was wrong. Now I have no choice but to make a deal with the devil.

What. The. Heck. Just. Happened.
Jericho Forge is an enigma. Captivating. Dangerous.
India Baptist is a professional Poker player. Competitive. Ice Princess.
What begins as a rivalry between 2 powerful men soon becomes a game to win the hand and heart of the infamous India Baptist. Deal with the Devil is a dual POV Romantic Suspense and begins with a high stakes Poker game organised by India Baptist and crashed by Jericho Forge.
In true Meghan March fashion, Deal with the Devil has an incredibly rich and powerful anti hero and a feisty, yet naive heroine who somehow gets wrapped up in dodgy dealings with some seriously bad people.
Indy and Jericho are introduced to us in a unique situation that sets up the remainder of book one in this series. Being book one its also a building book, we met and learn a few details about each main character and are given a few backstories and details but as always we're left with multiple questions and zero answers. Theres a few secondary characters that I most definitely need more details about!
While Jericho has your typical Meghan March qualities there's also something mysterious about him that I can't pinpoint. With Lachlan Mount and Lincoln Riscoff we had an idea or a hint of the trouble there heroines were getting themselves into but with Jericho Forge we have nothing. He's literally come out of the ocean with no past and not even a hint of who he really is! It's something i love and yet at the same time am so frustrated about!
Indy Baptist was a surprise heroine, I had no idea who the female lead of this book was going to be and actually suspected a few side characters from previous series!
I love that we have no idea who these characters are or where they've been and of course I'm excited to find out what happens next and where they end up!
Deal with the Devil was incredibly fast paced. The audio book is 5 hours and 52 minutes long and I could swear I was only listening to it for a couple of hours ta the most. I was so engrossed in the whirlwind story of Indy and Jericho that I couldn't stop listening. When I got to the end of book one and the 'big reveal', the audio book started playing the credits and I was so shocked I had to go back and listen to the last 30 minutes just to make sure I hadn't accidentally skipped a chapter! The end of Deal with the Devil as always with a Meghan March trilogy came out of absolutely nowhere and had me questioning everything!
I'm really enjoying the audio versions of Meghan March's series. The narrators, Joe Arden and Erin Mallon are fantastic and do an incredible job bringing these characters to life. These fast paced, action packed and steamy trilogies translate so well to Audio. They keep you captivated and have you cancelling plans so you can hide from the world and keep listening!
